Redoing the front suspension on my 70 RR and wondering if I should clear coat the new cast bits, or maybe use a cast-steel colored paint? What has worked well for you guys to keep the new fresh look?
Cruiser, and local car shows but not a trailer queen.Well that depends.....What is your purpose of the car for? Show only or cruising/driving a lot?
Wish I could help.....Cruiser, and local car shows but not a trailer queen.
Very nice.I used Duplicolor "Cast Iron". Buy it at Advanced

I did purchase some Eastwood Cast Gray for my third member, but haven’t tried it yet. Maybe that would work.I also just painted mine with a cast iron looking enamel.
Some folks have had good luck with RPM. I've never tried it.
Maybe do a google search.
Careless choice of words, apologies all around. Better said “I will be driving it to shows and not trailering it, so road rash is a consideration”. We good ?Ruh roh......
You said "trailer queen"......
No soup for you!

How about we drop that term "Trailer Queen"?Cruiser, and local car shows but not a trailer queen.
I hadn’t realized the sensitivity of this term and even apologized above. I don’t appreciate the “up yours”, especially from a moderator. I might expect it from the other mopar site, but this has always been a great group of people. How about we drop that term "Trailer Queen"?
I prefer to say that I have pride in my ride. Less offensive and more true to the car.
It's not my fault that my car is so nice....oh wait, yes it is.
