Sounds like a dumb question I know, but I have to yank a slant 6 out of my b body as I’ve sold it and I’ve never removed or installed one before. Where is a good place(s) to Bolt the chain to so it’s balanced and I don’t wreck stuff. It has a three speed manual attached to it so factor that into the equation too please. No intake or exhaust so there’s a fair amount of room.

It’s coming out the top, not dropping the k member

I need to do this tomorrow AM so any input so I don’t wreck my engine bay and so it comes out smoothly is appreciated!

Thank you!

I have never done it but have read they are the most awkward SOB's to get out ever devised....

Get a load leveler attachment so you can bring the front up and out. These pics show where to bolt to it. use two Grade 8 bolts. Blow the pics up and look closely. Good luck.

Yep, what Ghostrider said. there are 2, 3/8'' threaded bosses on the top of the head.
