how do you know...5/16 or 3/8 ??

Fuel sending unit, I see you can get them either in 5/16 or 3/8, mine is bad, and I'd like to have it on hand when I remove the tank for less down time. 72 Charger, 318 auto.

318 would have a 5/16" line. Pretty much everything had 5/16" except 440 and Hemi which had 3/8".

Just pulled the old fuel line off the 73, original 318 car. 5/16 line

if your planning to upgrade in the future go 3/8" they cost the same price
