How many members used to be regulars at.....

Never been into their forums. I check out the classifieds and that's about it. Lately though, it just hasn't been worth the click

I was on dodgecharger.com (wichargerguy) before FxBO.

Been a member since 03 and still on there every day. Just on my computer though, not my phone with their "ads" problem. Usually just post tech and classifieds.

Out him Ed. Family is sacred and should NEVER be insulted for any reason!:mob::cursin::mob::poke::poke:

If he reads my post today, maybe he will apologize in the thread here or in a PM to me, if not I know he is just a low life who takes cheap shots at people thinking he is funny. I did not find it amusing
Ed

I stay out of the political sections on all the car sites. I liked car sites and sports to get away from all the BS in the world but those days seem to be over.
Ed I hope he saves face with you. Miss hanging out at Carlisle with you. Your a good guy even though your from Jersey. JK LOL

Been a member since '07. I have never posted much there but I don't post too much on any forum. I'm not a Moparts celebrity but guys know who I am. I'm on there daily, checking classifieds and the race section.

Over the years I have gotten lots of good info from Moparts and appreciate the guys that answer sincerely. Unfortunately Unlawufl's is no longer as lively as it used to be, so many guys have left. The amount of new threads has greatly diminished. Maybe people just lose interest, sometimes there is little reciprocation for the effort. Plus, there's always going to be that segment of the forum that is just there to be negative which gets old quick.

The politics forum is laughable, same 15-20 guys from both sides answering with the same B.S.. I have found myself in there trying to make a point but it's a waste of time.

It's a bummer that the infolinks jive drove so many people away. Honestly, it's really easy to get rid of, just need the right extension/add-on in your browser which for me is Ghostery. I'm not sure why it's so hard for people to get around it, I never have an issue with it except when I have to log in and the add-on does not load immediately. Refresh the page and poof, bye bye.

Not to be critical of FBBO/FABO but to me the race/engine section on Moparts has always felt more advanced than other forums. From my perspective, the regulars seemed to have more hard-core racing and engine building experience and seem to be able to share that knowledge in a more thought-provoking manner. Of course not everyone there is an ace so obviously you have to read with a critical eye and I'm sure that holds true in the opposite way here, just speaking in general terms.

I was a member there for quite some time. But when the pop up ads started, I left.

Never been a member there, went a couple of times only to read the $50 paint job thread.

Is/was that the same topic about painting your car with a paint roller that was about 500 pages long?

I can still log in but I haven't been on that site for quite some time. I cannot stand the owner...Tom...at all!!! He is a lard *** moron from some where on the upper East coast that routinely spews out the same bloviating Whale **** that seems to emanate from there. I won't insult FBBO members because those from there on here are some very stand up members. MOPARTS just doesn't cut it for me. That being said, some of those members that I have become friends with I still keep in touch with to this day. So there are good guys over there as well as here...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Mentioning the u-turn that Unlawful made (forget his name) on the highway where he met his demise got me banned once. I read the report and well, posted about it. The way the report read I got the feeling that he is the one that caused the crash that killed him. When all the talk was going on I simply asked if I read that right and poof....I was gone.

I remember that thread and was surprised that it lasted for so long with all the garbage that was spewed.

Cranky I also had that same suspicion when I read it. Tom made him a "Sainted" member that walked on H2O. Unlawful this...Unlawful that. Sure it was a tragedy but come on here!!! Just way to over the top about it being always at the fore front. Hell even Stu...who I also got to know...didn't get that amount of mention as Unlawful did!!! Oh well... I moved on and have absolutely no regrets about it. And......I did buy my 66 Plymouth Satellite roller from Dave Brown of Smith Valley MOPARS
back when he lived over in Minden NV. Occasionally I check in with him to see what's up. Glad I did as my resto of it turned out great!!!cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

I've been on gm sites, but being new to mopar, I have seen some get pretty rude and insulting on other forums. I don't need the bs. I find this forum to be pretty outstanding and understanding.

Of course my presence here only enhanced this website.

Indeed. The Midas touch.

I am registered on there and have poke my head in once in a blue moon. I have never posted there. I like it here.

Of course!! You, I figured out a long time ago. If we lived next door to each other the world would be twice as great as it is now.
If he was next door to me - the world would spiral into a vortex no being could comprehend. :)
