how to remove the door hinge

how do you remove the lower door hinge on a 67 coronet. can I just leave the top hinge on and unbolt the bottom hinge ? I know I have to take the inside kick panel off.

Yes you can just unbolt the lower hinge.
I took a ratchet strap and hooked the door handle up to the ceiling joist to hold the door up.
