Hello, I just wired my Charger with the Tic Toc Tac. The dash frame is the ground (-), the long screw on the back is the power for the tach, which would be the blue (+), this goes to the fuse block. The gray with the red tracer goes thru the firewall and to the negative (-) side of the coil. The gray wire sticking out with the terminal is power for the clock. Hope this helps.

yes certainly does, thank you

got it running.. its a little slow to react.. and seems to be off
I'm using an MSD ready to run chevy style ignition.. does that have an effect on the mopar tach ?

Honestly not sure, I have a Mallory Unilite electronic ignition, but it uses a standard type coil. I think there is a different internal board or hookup if it uses MSD ignition, somebody else might want to jump in here......lol.

you'll need a msd tach adapt. your factory tach will not read right with msd ignition. if its acting slow to react, i believe you'll need to get it reworked with modern internals.

Is that the dash-worx kit? I see they have a kit for the clock as well and ammeter..

Yes, I have bought a harness from Dash-Worx, they have a kit for the clock and tach. You could also buy a new board, have seen those on Ebay.

Good info guys, thanks! :headbang:

I sent out my instrument cluster for a complete restoration including the tic toc tach.....then the car sat in storage for 2 years and I had some trouble remembering how this went....everything in a running 100% now!

found another place in Canada that does the same stuff as dashworx but for less money :)

That's interesting, what's the name of the company? I had mine whole cluster done at AutoInstruments a few years ago...the tach conversion/rebuild was $275
