Cat 5! Undetermined path. Strongest ever recorded. Pray. My parents on I-4 corridor.

I said awhile ago that there was a chance for the first recorded "hypercane" when there were two systems colliding in the Eastern Africa Atlantic. While it didn't come off as bad as was hinted at, it's still pretty bad. Need to watch that area of the ocean as it is the birthing grounds of our worst storms. Those islands in the path are going to get wiped out.

You guys be safe, 185 mph w/250 mph gust!!!! Praying for y'all!

I just found out last night my sister in law and her family (pets included) are on the way to our house. They live in Palm Beach county and said the lines at gas stations were unbelievable.

Prayers for all in its path, it looks like there is another storm following Irma.

I am in Disneyworld for the week. I got in Orlando on 9/1 and my flight out is 9/9 back to Pittsburgh. Nice weather so far, but may plan to leave a day early if at all possible depending on the path of the hurricane.

My in-laws live in Palm Beach County. I was able to get them flights out but not till Friday late afternoon. Hope the bitch Irma doesn't speed up and they can get out of there. I'm anticipating having to go down there to do damage control after it passes. Not good.

Have you checked flights? Everything in South Florida is pretty much sold out.

Looks like it's headed right for me, and maybe BB70500, and Bruzilla as well.

there are 2 positives-

1- the track can and probably will change.

2- it will be down to "only" 120 or so MPH winds by the time it gets here.

Hugo was down to 150 mph and took my entire house...

Stay safe people and heed the warnings from officials.

Yep get out & stay dry & safe...

I hope for the best, mother nature can be a real BITCH
seems every damn year Florida gets wiped out, again...
