Hey everyone question on the Hurst competition non console shifter from 69 is that the same shifter arm as a 70 pistol grip? I have a chance to buy one as I like the cue ball style...but if I change my mind and want the pistol grip is it just swapping out the handle or is everything different?

Hurst makes a pistol grip handle with the two-bolt mounting method for non-console cars if that's what you're asking.

I'm not aware of any pistol grip screw-on grips.

As I say, there are such things as pistol grip two-hole handles ("handle" meaning the whole shifter arm):

If the OP is just wanting the ability to unscrew the ball and screw on a pistol grip, that won't happen however.
