OK,I'll admit it;I do like Ferraris. OLDER Ferraris. I had a model building business for a few years,and built a number of Ferrari models for folks. Doing the research on them to duplicate scale accuracy led to an appreciation of the marque. I've driven a 308 GTB-WORST seating position in relation to pedal placement of just about any "supercar" around. Have ridden in an F40-at speed-owned by a well-known auto exec. Have sat in a 250 SWB(SCHWING!!!),a 365 GTB/4(the 'Daytona' to most folks),a 328(see comment about 308),a 348(MUCH better seating arrangement and good looking as well),a 355 and think the 599 Marenello is a stunning machine. If you ever get a chance,check out the engine castings on just about any Prancing Horse;incredible pieces. GM thought enough about their casting process to install Loramendi casting equipment(same as Ferrari,Lamborghini and Fiat use)up at the Saginaw Metal Casting plant where I worked for six years. Of course,in typical GM fashion,they ran the machines into the ground despite the protests of the workers and tradesmen(and wise supervisors) who knew that REGULAR preventive maintenance was needed to keep the casting quality high.

The car above? Like many of the current "supercar" crop,does not make my willy tingle. Might have something to do with my age and prior influences-I'd prefer an Aston-Martin DB8. Classic styling,with just the right amount of newer,trendier styling cues. Just my .02;adjusted for inflation,of course

949 hp. 0-60 in less than 3 secs and a top speed of 218 mph... and is the least expensive of the new top 3 Hybrid supercars.. yeah it sucks..LOL I admit there are other Ferarris that I like the style of better but the car is no slouch

I'll admit they make some fast cars that I'd drive the hell outta if given the chance...would I ever own one...not a chance in hell. Cost of ownership would be retarded high no to mention that the purchase price is stupid. Just think of the number of cars you can have that you enjoy just as much for the same value.
