Here is one more post with the rest of the pictures.

I thought 1968 model year was not straightforward to prove engine and transmission numbers matching?

Anyhow I watched the video and knowing what I know about finding these cars in this price range I still say it's a good buy. Getting an appraisal is a smart thing to do to see if the car is represented accurately.

I hope this one works out.

I have spent today working to have the car inspected which got done and it was positive. Tomorrow, I am planning to wire funds to the seller and close this deal. This car is as close to what I want for what I consider a reasonable price ($42,500). I wanted a non red, non hemi, non 4 speed driver, and this is that car. I know it is not a perfect car, but the issues with the car I am aware of can be dealt with over time while I enjoy driving it! I feel like if I passed on this car, I may not see another one for a price like this for a loooong time. In my opinion, there was really no reason to pass on this car, so I didn't. The seller (Jesse) has been very accommodating and forthright with me which I appreciate very much. Anyhow, the deal is basically done, so I will stop talking and close with some pictures. I plan to leave this thread open until delivery. Speaking of delivery, I am using A1 Transport (have used them before with good results). They will pick up the car within 24 hours of my call that the deal is done and have the car to me in 4 days on an enclosed trailer with one other car for $2190. Enjoy the pics

I like it - congrats on your long journey. With having looked at whats out there I know your decision was a confident one. I am still looking for that '69 Superbee or Coronet Rt with originality and factory docs. Someday. I say when you get this one put a bow on it and say Merry Christmas to yourself.

Thank you for the kind words! Yes, the purchase did happen close enough to Christmas to put a bow on the car! Thankfully, my journey was nowhere near as long as those of others, but I am glad it is over. I truly hope you find what you are looking for. If I come across anything that you might be interested in, I will certainly share it with you!

Right now, I am enjoying the idea of it and in a week or so, I will be enjoying the reality of it. I will keep you all posted!
Congratulations on a great score! These well preserved unrestored cars have never been easy to find, and are even more so these days. You hit the lottery. When I was actively looking for them, it took me at least five years between cars to get a hit.

This would be my 21st year looking for a 69 Super Bee in triple pickle. I've officially given up and even ranted to @Bart K Sunday night that I'm done. It's a wealthy man's hobby now and I'm moving on. Took only 21 years to learn that lesson.

I do feel like I won the lottery. I got lucky and won a great prize! I guess now I am a member of the "Bee Keepers" (love those Jason Statham movies)!

I say "never say never" because you never know what may pop up when you least expect it!
