WTB I am in the beginning stage of looking for a 1968 Superbee to purchase.

Congrats and remember there’s a lot of knowledge on FBBO. I also like the “no power “ anything, just like mine.

Congrats on your purchase. 68’ B is one of my all time favorites. Not too many surface for sale lately. I’m sure you will enjoy your new ride!

Congratulations Bart K !! I know that feeling!!.... I loved following your story.
Keep us posted with progress and pictures.
'68 Bee's and R/T's seldom come up for sale that are drivers, and as nice as yours.
Happy for you.

Congrats on the new Bee. Triple pickle looks great. Hope it exceeds expectations.
Thank you very much! As for exceeding expectations, we will see. The car is being picked up tomorrow (12/11/2025) and should be here on 12/18/2025. I like the term "triple pickle". I will be using that going forward!

Thanks alot! I know there is a ton of knowledge here at FBBO, that is why I joined and stayed joined. Beyond the knowledge, the people are very nice and always willing to help. I get the sense of family here which I really do appreciate. And yes, I am a "plain Jane" kind of guy, so I am also happy with the no power anything. The former owner had planned to do a restoration, and I am really glad he did not get around to it. I want to enjoy this car with all the sights, sounds, smells and feel of back in the day (1971) when I experienced my first Super Bee. I think it was a '69, but I am not sure, it was a loooong time ago now. So owning this car has been a dream for 54 years, and now it has finally come true!

That’s exciting! Welcome to the family of Mopar.
Thank you! I do already own a 69 4 door Coronet 440 and a 1966 Dodge D100 truck (which will probably go to make room for the Bee), so been appreciating Mopar for a while. However, this '68 Bee definitely tops everything else for sure!

Congratulations!! I have the same color scheme on my '68 440. I've had the car a few years, but just recently pulled the trigger on a new front bench cover from Legendary. Should be here by 2028!

Thank you very much! Glad to know a '68 Bee is a favorite of yours. Boy, don't I know that not many show up for sale! I mean really for sale. Most cars I found online were sold months or even YEARS ago when I checked on them. There is one I missed by a week, and I called and told the consignment place that their ad was still up. Even now, months later, that ad is still up and I know the car is gone. It is really frustrating. I am really lucky to have found this car, especially at this price. I took a long shot and posted what I was looking for in an automotive forum on a site named city-data.com Within a couple of days someone popped up with a link to facebook marketplace. I HATE facebook, but I had an account that I thought was closed decades ago, but I tried my old username and password and it worked (I tried without logging in first, but it would not let me navigate anywhere and kept prompting me to login). I clicked a button that said "contact seller" and asked if the car was still available, and not feeling much hope. An hour or so later, the seller got back that the car was still for sale. We had a phone call and the seller agreed to work with me exclusively for a few days until I could arrange an inspection, and the rest is history! I would NEVER have seen the ad on facebook had I not posted that message on city-data.com Funny how the universe works!!!

2028 the old snail mail.

I had a 71 Dart Swinger with a tan exterior and the same two tone green interior. That was a fun car with 360/727/8.75.

Thank you for following. I am all sure we have all had that "feeling" before, but this time it is my turn! I will definitely keep you all posted with progress. I am working on a video for my youtube channel and I will post the link here when it is done, and I will follow up with a video of the delivery as well.
