WTB I am in the beginning stage of looking for a 1968 Superbee to purchase.

I must say I believe you got a good deal on shipping costs. Is this like Montway where these guys hire out independents or do they have a small circle of approved folks that are insured. Always would ship via enclosed. I recommend taking a video of car being unloaded for future viewing - very cool.

Well, I called A1 auto transport which I have used before, but it does seem that this is a clearinghouse for shipping requests and they try to find someone who can work my pickup and destination in to their schedule. Anyhow, the car was picked up this morning (12/12/25) 8 am Eastern time in North Carolina. I am not sure where it is now, but I hope it is at least a couple of states further west than it was this morning! I absolutely plan to video the unloading, and I plan to share it on my youtube channel and post a link here for everyone's viewing pleasure!

Like that passenger quarter panel picture showing OE quarter.

That website has pictures of their “dealership” that are fake AI generated.

I have a feeling this is just online consignment place. Just proceed with caution.

Thanks for sharing, excited to see the new ride get unloaded.

Well Bart, after watching the video I feel more positive about the car and looks like you did luck into a pretty good one. Looks like a good candidate for some detailing and later on some relatively minor work as you drive it and enjoy it. Good luck.

Thank you very much AR67GTX! I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and glad to know they are positive! I am not usually a lucky person, but in this case, I will take it! I know it seemed like I acted pretty quickly, but in my opinion, it was either that or lose out to someone else. Yes, I am good with taking some time to check over the car and enjoy it as it is, then begin addressing the body issues. I have a friend that has done lots of body and paint work for me in the past and I have already shared with him what needs to be done, and he is willing to fit me in between some of his bigger jobs, so it is all going to work out. Of course, I will document the repairs and share it here on the forum. I greatly appreciate your feedback!
