I got snakes in my Mopar!

Good size Blacksnakes too
must be good food/prey around for them to be that big & staying around

I'm not big on snakes either, but as long as they aren't
rattlers or pitvipers of some sort, I'm fine

We have so many cats around here (none are mine)
the snakes don't have a chance of getting the prey
I'm glad thou
I had a mouse in my RR about 2 years ago,
didn't find damage just a nest in the trunk out of chewed-up paper towels
no signs now

since the 2 newer neighbors, across the street
& lil' girls with like 5 cats between them
no signs of mice, snakes or moles gophers etc. for that matter
our grey squirrel population has been depleted too

plenty of coyotes/coydogs at night, killing cats thou
almost all my neighbors have lost a cat
I assume to either rattlesnake strikes or more than likely coyotes,
we have lots
2 of my dogs have been struck, usually by babie snakes too
both Buddy & Elvis have been bit

I hear the howls at knight & some god-awful sounds
of **** being killed, sound late at night really carries
then the howling/yapping by the coyotes
to have the babies/subadults join the feast,
almost nightly in summer

At least there wasn't mice there chewing on stuff thanks to the snakes
Yeah, a trade-off, maybe? Have had mice take up residence in my plow truck a few times since it sits most of the time. Damn, was bad one time when I had to plow; the stench was gagging. And I had cleaned that truck nice just a few weeks earlier. Turned on the blower fan and it barely ran and knew those bastards likely made a home in the blower housing. Got it in the garage, removed the blower motor and yikes. Three grocery bags full of mice nest **** & piss. Took a while to clean the blower fan blades – their **** sticks much as it stinks! Ran a compressed air hose through the ducts and nest **** blew out the vents. Another half hour vacuuming that up. Sprayed tons of air freshener inside just to kill off the stench to limited success. Meanwhile it kept snowing. Found my paint respirator and wore it to finish plowing with windows open. My cats are gone. Need to kidnap a feral cat and toss it in my garage…not much for snakes around here and I like it that way

Mix up some Jiffy "Honey" Cornbread mix 50/50 with Baking Soda and you won't have any Mice or Rats around for long.

I am okay with snakes so long as they stay outside and I don't see them. LOL
