Im probably late to the party but I just tried chatGPT. Technical discussion about cold and hot lash,and I changed its mind after a lengthy exchange. We also talked about what how changing lash affects power and torque.Give it a try and report back. Bill

Sometimes. Other times it kept repeating the same answer. That’s the problem with AI. It’s only as good as the data it’s fed. If we the people have to teach it it’s going to end up as reliable as Wikipedia. Garbage in, garbage out. I’m sure the libtards already have a plan to teach AI on a massive level.

I’ve been using it a couple of years now, it’s a tool and no tool is infallible. The danger is in being lazy when using it and just accepting what it spits out. It seems it’s improved to where it can remember what I correct it on.

Automotive matters seem to be its weakest area, probably wasn’t built by car guys!

Important to remember all AI really is is a summary of information derived from internet searches. It can be real helpful in some areas, I doubt hotrodding is anywhere near its wheelhouse.

I find it funny how some think current AI is static. It’s like comparing our phones from 10 years ago, it will improve significantly.

If you know how to use the info correctly Chaat GPT a great tool. Which I don't. My son used it to to build a weather station ET predictor this week. Chat GPT wrote all the computer code which he doesn't do, but understands. It self learns, fills in all the data from the timeslip from a cell phone pic. We went back and asked it to predict runs that were actually made this Summer. Runs were with in .01 of the slip +/- .005.
