I need some UCA ball joint advice Update !

I'm replacing my upper ball joints and the one on the passenger side is so tight I can't get it seated . I'm about 3/16 " away from seating . The ball joint was hard to get started but the old one would start right in so I'm wondering if I should remove the ball joint and start over with some lube or run it to a friend with a 3/4 impact and try to seat it that way .

Well I took the ball joint out and yes the threads in the UCA were gone so I've ordered a new pair of arms . I've since read where you can have problems with the threads and distortion with older UCA's . Gonna cost me some extra money but I won't have to worry driving down the road .

I'm getting ready to do the lowers , anyone have any tips or advice ?

no air gun. if it's properly threaded, it will screw in. Tight, but it will go.(unless it's Chinese made)
I have had problems with their parts.

moog is ok. Maybe it's in crooked. Screw it in, back it out, and repeat. with lots of grease.

Yep, grease the crap out of it, then try threading it back in, the last 1/8" or so can be tough but it will go.
