I Agree. The little black and white one can be sound a sleep. I'll walk out of the room and he is hot on my heels.He is now 14 years old. My other boy Buddy (The one on the right) passed a few year back. Great dog.

Dogs have to learn human language and absorb our habits and it is mostly a one sided thing. Study how dogs communicate and mimic that back to them and watch their reaction.

When I came home yesterday our black Lab has mud on his head and bird poop on his back side. I am thinking he fell asleep in a mud puddle and a bird dive bombed him. I bet the squirrels he chases got a laugh out of it.

I was fostering a Lab mix, named him Bad Dog. I couldn't keep him in the house when I wasn't home because he would tear up the place. He'd stay in the fenced in backyard. I found out that after I'd leave, he'd climb the fence, go down to the creek and play around with the neighbors dog and then somehow would hear the car, come back to the house and climb back into the yard like nothing happened.
One day I came back, let the other dogs out and Bad Dog was sitting on the deck. I saw the tail and realized he had a dead rat in his mouth. Our gazes were locked and he must have read my mind that I was trying to figure out how to get it away from him because he swallowed it whole.
He was a great dog for someone who could work with him and luckily he found a good home.

Our lab is just over 2 years old he has been a challenge. Not mean at all as long as you dont come to the door when only my girls are home. But that is why we have a larger dog. We live out of town and have a perimeter set shock collar on him. He used to just dig and tear up things. He is getting better now.

This is a breed that needs a job. They are great dogs but need a lot of activity.

This used to be my German Shepherd and I, she’s going on 11 years old now so she doesn’t bat an eye anymore when we move around the house. If My wife, kids or I go outside though she wants to go. Dog’s getting old sucks!

So I tried that thing where you lock your wife and the dog in the trunk of a car and opened after an hour to see who was happier....
Just kidding I would never do that to my dogs!

Grand daughter was scared of dogs till they got a puppy. She loves he puppy! Dogs are the best!
