it mite be a A body .... but still an killer part of automotive history

The picture takes me back to a time, that I remember waiting for the bus and seeing the guy down the street who came by every day, at the same time to go to work. He drove a new orange 69 340 dart. I remember seeing that car every morning made my day. Man, that car was beautiful!!! Young and dumb......... Thanks for the trip back. It's one of those things that's forgotten till you see a certain something that takes you their.

And to think a new Dodge Demon will do everything that car does better.....and with the a/c on!

It takes me back..... to earlier this week;

and yes my trailer doesnt look much different either.

reminds me of sitting on the school bus every day and going by this guys house who had 2 chargers,a white one/70 and a red one/69 in his back yard.
( Bellingham Mass )

i Dreamed about those cars, for years,
and when i got out of the army and returned home,i drove to his place.
the white one was gone, but the other one was Still there.
we talked for awhile, mostly about memories and the years that had passed.
finally went out back to look at the car,it was a 383 2bbl car and rotted Really bad.
i was kind of heartbroken, didnt buy it.
wonder what ever happened to that......

between my dads Duster, and those 2 chargers,i was addicted to Mopars at a Very early age.

Had a neighbor growing up that had a '36 Chevy in his yard. he would never let anyone buy it. Every car guy in town asked at least once..

It appears the guy is picking up that hemi Dart with a treasure trove of BO29 Barracudas in the background.

Not sure off the top of my head where that was exactly, but I knew it once.

Google:
Hurst Facility
1911 East Eleven Mile Road
Madison Heights, Michigan

Hmmm, I'll take one of each.

Wagon looks familiar, but not the same.

I'd be happy with the wagon
Agreed. I'd kill for a '68 Monaco wagon now in nice shape.
That was our family car when we were kids and was the first big block Mopar I ever listened to...
which I did a lot while riding in the jump seat in the back-back. :)
