'68 Plymouth. I can't get to the bulb without feeling like I'm about to break something...how do you change this little booger? Thanks all!

Ok but then what? It's getting the actual bulb out of the housing I'm having trouble with..

I've broken bulbs removing them from sockets before. Disconnect the battery and be careful not to damage the socket. If the glass separates from the base, use a set of needlenose pliers. To prevent this from happening again coat the base with a thin film of dielectric grease.

Thanks guys I got it. What was required was just pulling the socket out rearward by the connecting wire... I didn't want to yank on the wire at first so I thought there had to be a another way, but that was the only way to pop it out...thanks again
