for another project. It's been on my mind for a number of years. Around 1963 or 64 my father bought a 48 Willys CJ2a. Ive written comments about it before. I leaned how to drive on this vehicle and I often borrowed it when I got my license.
He sold it around 1971. There were a lot of great memories with that old jeep, id bore you im sure with the stories.
Im not getting younger and while I still like to work on cars I what to take advantage of that
Im currently looking for a Jeep from that time.

Sorry to hijack this thread. Sahara: I was behind a N.W.T. bear plate yesterday. We see them once in a very long while around these parts.

I bet they were driving slowly, we’re not used to driving in traffic! Lots of northerners retire down there, and lots of our kids go to university in Victoria.

We had one at a gas station I worked at in the 60's.. Man that little thing would push some snow. I'd take off with it for a little ride after I closed up, don't think the boss ever knew. Go for it Steve, life is short.

Your a Machosist!
Ha Ha!

I have a friend that does nothing but Military Jeeps up in North Georgia.. He has plenty of parts and knows where to get them.

Be careful not to over pay Steve. They are out there at reasonable prices. I helped my buddy Joe rebuild a 1954 Willys dump truck. Easy to work on and there are parts available. Not to mention numerous clubs that cater to the Willys crowd. Good luck.
