Does anyone know if the Bendix brake boosters used on 62-64 Imperials is the same as on B-body cars of those same years? A friend is parting out a couple and I’m wondering if the firewall bolt pattern and pushrod length is similar. Thanks

I have been told the can is the same but it needs a different length pushrod installed.

Correct.
Push rods are different.
Bolt pattern is the same.
HEMI boosters are the ones that are different, bolt pattern, and also push rod.

B bodies could have used those boosters on 66-69 cars with power disc brakes, Bendix 4 piston caliper, brakes.

Thanks. I have a '64 Polara and converted to front discs. But even with a smaller bore master, pedal effort is still higher than I want it (we pull a small vintage trailer with the car). Rather than go to a modern booster using an aftermarket Hemi-style offset setup, I am thinking of using one of the early dual-diaphragm Bendix units that were on Chryslers in 62-64 and don't need the internal z-bar style linkage. But yeah it's all about the pushrod.
