Went to install my mini starter and the only bolts I have are way to long.can anyone tell me what bolts o need to try to find?

Those missing bolts are probably with the socks I lost last month.

Thanks!

The top of the starter takes a 7/16"-14 X 1 1/2" bolt and the bottom is 7/16" X 2"

better too long than too short. shorten them up a bit

Local hardware store and get a couple grade 8 7/16 bolts. Problem solved! ruffcut

Bottom is 1/2” x 1 1/2” top is a 7/16” fine thread stud with a nut and lock washer.
Ordered them both…thanks!

Accurate answers here, but I'm curious to know if the mini starter compares to the original?? Why are yours too long?? You can buy sets from ARP and others to fit OEM length setups.

Well since I couldn’t find the bolts I couldn’t install it. I’m guessing the correct ones were used somewhere else which left me with the wrong ones. I just installed a 383 in place of a 361 so once I get it finished I will let you know how I like the mini starter.
