Indoor light weight car cover? Parachute material

I'm looking for one of those light weight "parachute" material type car covers.
Good for nothing other then dust.

I can't seem to find one on eBay, just those grey heavy car covers that leave fuzzys all over.


Does anyone know where I might find one?

California Car Cover Model 200. Blok-It. Got the light one for the Coronet, the challenger has the heavy one you describe.

Note sure what parachute material is like. Let me see if I can find the paperwork. The cloth like cover for the Challenger weighs a ton and leaves dust. The lightweight one for the Coronet leaves less. I'll check.

It is NOT the 200. Let me see if I can figureoutwhatI'm talking about.

Why not look for an army surplus parachute then? Could be trimmed down but would drape easily enough over a whole car.

I just bought one of these off ebay to keep the pollen off my bird. It's been on the car for a week now and so far, so good. It's very lightweight plastic and won't take any abuse, but it was only $16.00 shipped..

Those e-bay car covers really sound like the real deal--BUT--I ordered a 4 ply cause it had so many high marks. It is a real POS ! How they call that a 4 ply is something not understandable. It wasn't a bit better than a cheap Wal-Mart. If it keeps dust from coming thru, I will be surprised......MO

I bought a tyvek car cover at Carlisle Friday. it's pretty light weight.

I used to cover my cars with light weight covers (California Car Cover) but stopped because I found that the covers leave micro scratches very small but in certain light I could see them. Now I leave the cars uncovered and spray them off with air then go over with a damp micro fiber towel....

And then I found the parachute cover while cleaning the garage last weekend... LOL I like the Tyvek cover so far though. It fits nice and is super light and leaves no fuzzies behind.
