If any of you ever wanted to know what going from an Indy 2D dual plane to an M1 on a RB block does.
Picked up “maybe” .04 and less than 1 MPH
Changed nothing else.
Played with shooters and Jetting for max MPH and quickest 60 foot
Was shocked to see 60 foot same and “maybe” less than .01 better
Last week = 1.58-1.59
Sunday = 1.57-1.58
Last week with INDY 2D was doing 11:35-11:38 @ 117+
This Sunday with M1 was 11:35 down to 11.32 @ 117.5-118.2
Weather temp, Baro PSI, and Humidity were almost identical
With M1:
Idles with a touch more vacuum, and in gear vacuum idle is same as INDY 2D
3,950 weight
3.54 gear
9x28 radial slick
505 (4.25 crank)
1000 cfm AED 4150
Eddy RPM heads, STD port
93 octane
.585/.600 flat tappet
8” convertor
2” header with 3” full exhaust
