info on dash for 73 roadrunner

I hope someone can tell me what the rr speaker and knob on the dash are for im thinking it maybe for the horn not sure
 
Not sure what you are referring to exactly, there is a speaker fader knob above the instrument cluster on the underside of the dash pad, is that what you mean????

yes that is it so its just for the dash speaker is that all they came with

The cars mostly just came with a dash speaker. If you added one additional speaker in the rear, then you got this fader knob to adjust the rear speaker level as opposed to the dash speaker.
 
There were a couple of options, AM radio with a dash speaker, AM or AM/FM with a front and rear speaker, and AM/FM stereo with two rear speakers and a dash speaker.

Good to know. I had always though there was only one speaker in the rear. Did they use 6x9s for both? The openings are different sizes...
 
My rear deck has cutouts for 6x9 on both sides, the dash speaker is 4x10 I believe. You can get after market ones for the dash, but I had mine restored. And just using a stock 6x9 in the back since my original was gone.
