I’m trying to get my fathers 1973 roadrunner running again however due to an injury I cannot clean out the garage it’s in to work on it. I’m looking for as much information as I can get on working with old cars, I know roughly the basics on how an engine works and that’s about it. I was wondering if there was like a book I should read or YouTube videos I should watch. Pretty much any information on the process of getting a sitting car driving would be great.

The factory service manual is free online. In general, you need FRESH gasoline, spark at the spark plugs and an engine “basically” in one piece. It also helps A LOT to know why the car was parked??? (eg bad brakes, bad engine, bad transmission, etc)

I believe that it was just parked because my dad moved on from it, he had kids and stuff and got new cars
