Anyone have a favorite or better than another inner axle seal preference.
Looking for the brand.
69 Bee 8 3/4 rear end.
Thanks!

National, but they used to be better tbh. They were slightly heavier, with a more robust rubber seal. The color was closer to red than the orangish they are now.

National is good, so is CR or Chicago Rawhide...(some bearing manufacturers, SKF, RBC, make and market their own seals, for compatiblity)...both are made with synthetic elastomers, some have a garter spring on the seal's lip OD, for more positive grease or fluid retention.....as long as the O.D. and the I.D. and overall thickness meet the application requirements, the better the seal will be.....use care when installing, not to nick or damage the lip surface...and it's installed in the proper orientation.......
