When installing the fuel tank what is the two nipples on the right side of the sending unit for that are made into the gas tank for?

Thanks in advance for the Help

Those are for your vent lines.

One goes up into the trunk through a rubber grommet, the other is shorter and clips onto the shock support. They attach to the tank with short pieces of 1/4" fuel line. You will need to purchase the hard lines if you don't already have them.

If it's similar to the 1970 models, here's a page from the shop manual
Where the 'grommet' is shown is where the tube goes through the trunk floor.
