Has anyone ran an aftermarket trick flow manifold with an air grabber system?

You should be more specific like what car. It might help.

It is a 1971 Roadrunner with a 383 air grabber

Those Trick Flow intake are really tall and I doubt there is any way possible to get them to fit in the air grabber ductwork.

The old school Edelbrock DP4B worked on my buddies 70 Bee. I know, not the car or intake you were asking about.

Verify height gain of aftermarket vs the OE manifold. Is there that much intake throat on the air filter base that can be cut off and still retain the carb attachment diameter ???

3/8 of an inch. Why I told him to verify the height change from stock.. and can he cut that off the 383 intake throat if it's still carb intake diameter at that point..

We used a Weiand Action + along with the 440 base air cleaner on my 69 Bee. I was also able to use a 3/16" carb gasket. Not sure if your 71 has any more room than a 69?

Holley street dominator should also work
And dp4b. May have to use the 440 base though.

Does anyone have the height measurements of stock?
