69 440
.060 over flat top pistons
ly rods
507 510 cam
915 heads ( ported polished and milled to 78cc)
750 holley race carb
as for the rear tire and gear - 4:11s with a 29" tall tire
here goes with the intake ???
im looking to purchase an offenhauser 360 power port tunnel ram . and cant seem to find any real info on them .can anyone help out . my main use for the car is a weekend cruiser (car show , play time ect.) with a little track time from time to time. car is a 73 roadrunner.

old style tunnel ram with plenum divided, smaller runners... there're better choices out there thou, depends on what your trying to do... had an old friend, Rocco P. that ran one on a hot little 509 purple shaft cam, 383 with 2x390cfm Holley's 4bbls, it ran pretty well, good bottom end... not much more I could add...

As far as a power maker goes, and of course considering the build you listed, this is the wrong intake. For showing, getting a eye popping crowd & saying, WOW! Look at that, awesome, check it out, that intake will do it. And do it well.

IMO, you would be better off with a RPM.

You'll improve drive ability, torque, HP, mileage all across the board and more so in the RPM's of for which you'll be driving in and the cam operates in.

But which of the two are you doing?

Big thing I see your missing in the info is What Tranny you running ??
That makes a BIG dif on your motor output needs !!

I agree with rumble. A decent dual plane like the RPM or Indy will give you better throttle response, idle quality and move your peak Torque lower in RPM, were it's utilized better at street speeds. It will still make real good power for your occasional Sunday trip to the strip. You're loss will be some HP at the higher RPM's.

Like 360 said...where are you drawing the line for use, % wise?

Performer RPM is the best intake 5500 rpm and below. Use it.

Singe 4 BBL tunnel rams don't seem to make sense but I knew a guy that ran one with great success. The long runners are great for torque and perhaps the divided plenum will help the low end even more. If that cam you speak of is on a 108 LSA then it might work pretty well and without a plenum divider. But most likely not as well as a perf RPM or an old Torker.
