You know how back in the day so many of the interior parts were made out of plastic? I'm talking about the ones that were made to look metal in particular. Is there a way to refinish those to the original metal or silver look. I have some perfectly good parts with the finish worn off that I hope can be be refinished. It's not only hard to find replacement parts it would be flat out a shame to not be able to use the originals.

Any sage advice from you master restorers? Thx in advance!

I got a loot of looks, but no answers. I kept looking and from a very old post on FBBO I picked up the name of a trim restoration company. Gcar.com. Scroll down the page a little and you'll see them listed as a trim and restoration company for muscle cars etc. If I can't do it myself - which I'd rather - at least I found a place to do it for me.

Thought some of you lookers would be interested in the answer.

Most of the plastic parts are hard to get that "chrome" look again as they are actually CHROMED. So those would need to be sent off to be re-done. That's the best I got for you.

Emblem magic is one I was referred to for my grille center section.... but there are others some have a scheduled production process and their is a wait time...

I checked out emblem magic. Thx for the tip. I'm trying to keep track of all these sources as I'm a rather novice restorer and want things to look good along with the go fast sources.

appreciated!
