Detroit Diesel, far as I know. What make built the "Fuel Squeezer?"
The "Fuel Squeezer was a Detroit "V" engine that came in 6 cyl and 8 cyl models. They were popular in buses. They didn't make a whole lot of power, but ran forever and were easy to work on.What make built the "Fuel Squeezer?"

Kinda, actually a power stroke every other stroke, instead of every 4 strokes. If they backfired , they would run backwards very easily; exhaust out the air cleaner & suck up and burn engine oil.
