Is that even legal?

I guess my question would be with replacing almost ALL body panels on a given car "At what point does the car stop being this car" I mean a car especially a desirable one with no original body parts is a fake in its self. Again just an opinion.

Is there a difference between buying a legit car with all the paperwork and having to replace 80%-90% of it due to rot and buying just a dash frame, fender tag and finding a car to swap them into? Yes there is. First example is legitimate repair of an existing vehicle, the second is fraud. Look to intent.
