Is this a factory hole in a ‘70 Coronet Convertible Dash.

That hole would be for the rear defogger switch. Obviously, that is something that never came on a convertible.

That hole is for the convertible top switch. And the defroster switch goes there also. They don’t have both on the same car so win/win.
