Is this a fair price for this car?

It looks good. If the car is truely all original and in that shape I would think it is well worth that kind of money.

that figures......as usual, either too far away or a bit over my price range. This car hobby is driving me nuts.

feel the same way...when u find the one u like its to expensive and owner wont budge...or u find one in price range or very cheap and its in alaska...im having same trouble...ive been looking i 4 states for one and no luck

It's not a common automobile.
A "great shape" (not restored) hardtop could run you $7500.
Being a convertible, it's much more desirable AND it should continue to escalate in value.
Offer him $10K.

Glad to hear it's not just me.....there is a decent '68 barracuda rag near me too but they are a bit tight for me to sit in.....35" inseam. If this car was priced @ 1500 cheaper I'd be over there bargaining (or at least trying to).

and i'll drive 2 hrs to bloomsburg on aug 11th and see absolutely nothing!

Not what he is asking

I just got back from looking at the 63.
It's in need of a total resto.
Had a SO>>>SO job done years ago. Rust and mud coming through several places.
Top, interior, body all need redone.

However he is a very user friendly man to deal with.

Great guy but Not a Mopar guy............ He is looking for offers.

It is a daily drive though.

It is an original 383 4V Sport Fury? Might be a Fury....only say that because it is a PB auto on the dash.

I was under the impression that all SF's were on the floor.

Correct Sport Fury console shifted.

well, i think i might leave it be then......top and mech work are one thing, but i'm not interested in dealing with a bunch of body work...don't have the time, $$ or expertise. Thanks for posting the assessment.

BTW, I've seen several pics of sport furys with a interior pic showing a PB auto, i thought that's where they all were until 64-65. A google search will show what i mean.

Yes 63's I'm learning are PB on the dash...........64 and 65 were on the floor.
