Is this the right temp unit?

A question about the temp gauge sending unit on my 68...just dug out my harness and the wire has the stud-type connector it seems. I put a new sender in the 440, it said it was for the temp gauge not the light,(my car has a gauge) but now I'm not sure...thanks! Here's the pictures of the unit and wiring connector, I can put a spade on if the unit is right...thanks again
