Took the wife out to the wrong coast for the finals at Pomona. What a view of the mountains right from the grandstands. AJ pulled off a hard win to finish the season on a high note.

I have a lot of family in the LA area so we did lotsa visiting and eating.Pomona was a 1 hour drive it that crazy traffic!

I have not been to Pomona since the 80's. I remember the view of the mountains and am now stoked to go again - with the R/T this time. To meet up with the _ski would be a bonus! Thanks for the pics.

good for you itis and you are right about that track and the car history around that whole area. another drool event there is one of the swap meets. if you live on the east coast there is nothing close to it. my buddy from westech, corvette collector, took me to one and i was in awe. he eventually ended up finding my coronet at one of those meets. its a different way of life out there if your are into old cars and drag strips, almost a bucket list thing. again, good or you.

2nd,I'm sure the west coast has some big swap meets, I go to Carlisle every year and it must be in the TOP 3 best car show/swap/and drag racing events in the country!
