I like them because of the v8 and the style especially in the late 70s early 80s really wasn’t that bad compared to what else was out there. years ago I bought quickly abandoned a 78 that was one of the first 1000 off the line and the first 100 brought into America. I saw the sheet of plywood full of fuses and relays in the passenger footwell with all of the wires chewed up and the more I looked at it the more I went nah!![]()

Some do, yes. But Porsche management already saw that sales were declining for the 911, which had been around since 1964. I'm sure they would have been surprised to know how long the 911 would actually remain in production.And Porsche people still argue whether or not the 928 was intended to replace the 911.
