On my third one....set and forget. Takes a little practice getting settings correct but once you do they work great.

LPG or propane for me....can't be hanging about waiting for a fire to start when there's meat to eat.

Pouring with rain here....middle of winter, Crockpot is on with a rolled shoulder of pork. Ready for some sliders tonight.
Apologies to those of you who don't have 'Smellovision 1.0' or above installed on your computers....

Have assembled one pellet smoker. Dont forget they require an electric power source. The one assembled was 110 ac or 12 dc. Looked like a nice unit.
I can grill on charcoal, propane, electric, white gas or wood. Even have a natural gas unit in the front yard but no access to the gas. Would like to try solar some time.
Have even cooked on the mopars intake.

Have an Old Smokey (small) and a homemade smoker and both sees wood but the Old Smokey mainly uses charcoal. The smoker has never had charcoal in it except for starting. I have a plastic container with meth in it and keep several pieces of charcoal soaking and use just one to start up one or the other cooker.
