For those who knew him... I've just learned that Jim passed away last evening at 85 years.
Mark Gibson (Gibber) posted the information over on the 1st Gen forum.
A sad day for those who knew him, and a great loss to the 66-67 Charger community.

RIP Jim. I first met him in Missouri 1993. Talk about knowledgeable. And built some incredible cars .

R.I.P.

That is sad news, Jim was a wealth of information on the first Gen Charger and a more sincere and enthusiastic member of our hobby than I have ever met. I feel fortunate to have known him and toured his collection of parts and cars. God rest your soul Jim, you will be missed.

Awwwww

In addition to being such an asset to our community, Jim was friendly and personable...just a pleasure to be around. An increasingly rare gem in today's world, he will be remembered fondly.

...talked to Jim many times in the late 70's early 80's..met him at the first getogether in Bloomington Ill for the 30th reunion 1996...a true gentleman, great innovator with a mind that constantly worked overtime on our beloved Chargers...RIP my Friend..Godspeed with a Charger by your side!!!

We met him at Carlisle maybe 10 years ago when he brought the concept car recreation of the 66 Charger.
A special guy.
