In post #185, @DeltaV guessed correctly.

The car in the magazine I was referring to was indeed a 1960 Studebaker Lark.

I found it in an internet search and discovered it was in the August 1983 edition of Hot Rod Magazine.

There are some cool pics of that car in the article.
Growing up surrounded by 50’s and 60’s cars in our driveway, I always could appreciate that old Studebaker.

What’s even more crazy is, when I first started this contest yesterday morning, my recollection was that it was a 1959 Lark.
It wasn’t until I did a search for the original picture after the contest started that my memory stood corrected, it was indeed a 1960 Lark.
You would have been right if I never did that search to find the original article.
