Just gotta move a few things in the garage first.

If somebody gave me that, I couldn't afford the fuel.

F-4 fuel flow, in pounds per hour (pph):

Idle: 800 - 1400 pph for each engine

Military power: 7500–9000 pph for each engine

Max AB: 40-45000 pph for each engine

Jet fuel weighs about 6.5 pounds per gallon and costs about $2 per gallon.

So basically figure an hour of fun costs 25K just in fuel never mind the maintenance costs.....

And I'm crying about hotel costs for Spring Fling...

Back in the mid 80's they had F4's at Clark AFB, they used to fly cover for us every once in awhile, once had one of them drop a 500lb dummy (concrete) bomb early almost killed all of us.
