Still have a ways to go but very happy with this so far. I'm getting another truck so I can use the axles and transfer case to make this a 4x4. Hope you enjoy.

Yes sir. Thank you very much.
I love it! If I remember I had about 15 1st gen pickups. Had a 77 150 short bed sweptline in metallic black. Set up just about like yours height wise, 318, 4 speed.Great ride bud!

Mine has a 440, 10.5-1 comp. aluminum heads, 535 HP on the dyno. TCI built trans, strange outfitted Danas. It's a blast.

No doubt in my mind! Mine just had an intake, carb and headers. It would go anywhere, geared perfect with that 4 speed, 355’s. Pulled out a lot of fords and chevys at the old hunt club. Still have a new set of Doug Thorley headers for a big block Dodge truck. My favorite body style, man you have good taste in cars and trucks! Haven’t looked at them in 20 years. Take care !

Let me know if you ever decide to sell the headers. Can never have too many parts on the shelf.
Thank you for the kind compliments.

I guess one day I might get another truck. The problem is where to put it. I’m down to a 3 car garage and a storage unit, there ain’t no room. The headers are still in Illinois. One day I’ve got to head there to honestly do some getting rid of stuff or bringing it here. If I ever do, and I will. I will send them to you for shipping. I don’t have time to build another vehicle or the space. Hell I don’t drive the car as much as I’d like. I miss the 8 car garage! I don’t miss anything in Illinois except the kids, grandkids and buds. We’ll probably head back sometime this year and I’ll see what I can do. Honestly, I’d give them too you! My son wouldn’t want them.

I would want to pay you SOMETHING!! Your generosity is humbling, but at least let me buy you and your family dinner. I insist.

I didn’t have buckets in mine. Four of them had buckets. Heck, this is the first I’ve really talked about them in a while. I just built a model of the first new 78 D150 I bought right after graduating high school. I was lucky, I never owned a beater. I did build a few trucks, I’ll say that. I should stop, I’m gonna have to put a second story on the garage. Heck no bud, I’d rather see them go to someone who could use them, and loves these old trucks as much as I do! Just stay safe out there, one day you may get a PM. This is the first time in my life I haven’t had a pickup. Still getting used to it.
