Hi

I want to know if there is a filler to fill the small divots from rust on the leaf springs.
I sanded them down and was thinking of using bondo to fill the pits and sand it down flush so there would be filler only in the pits

I ;m thinking with the flexing of the springs it may just pop out or maybe Im wrong

Anyone come across this? And suggestions?

Thanks

I’ve used JB Weld to repair rust pits like those before. The problem is that the pits have to be clean, about the only way would be to sandblast the springs.

You could use 2-part high strength panel adhesive as it sure won’t pop out but might be a little expensive. On a clean, sandblasted part I think quality body filler would probably hang in there fine.
