Hello,

what kind of leaf springs and torsion bars would you prefer to a 65 Satellite with 383 engine?

It seems that my Ruby is to low:

I just bought a set of SS springs from Mancini which means I can get rid of the past owners air shocks and worn out springs. I would think that the front bars could be turned up a bit if you like.

Too low in the back and too high in the front.

The BB torsion bars you have (assuming it is an original 383 car) should get you as high or as low as you want to go.

SS springs will raise it up pretty high in the rear but a couple of lowering blocks can put it where you want it.

Haven't liked the ride on very many cars that had SS springs in them....just go with heavy duty ones like ESPO has....

I agree, the ESPO leafs are what I have on the Belvedere along with some FirmFeel 2.03 bars, and KYB shocks. The SS springs will have your car sitting uneven across the rear bumper and are pointless on a street car.
