Torsion bar question

How far can torsion bars be adjusted up?
Recently bought a 1967 Plymouth Satellite. Problem is the front end sits incredibly low. I would like to crank up the torsion bars but I read of conflicting suggestions of how high is too high.
Any thoughts?

It's pretty uncomplicated.. tighten them up till it sits right. ( flat, even)
The bars might be sacked right out too.

Unless the bars are completely wasted, you should certainly be able to crank em up to stock height, and maybe a little more.
Probably can't achieve gasser straight front axle height.
Jack up the front, take the weight off the suspension before you crank em. And some penetrating oil couldn't hurt.

Make sure your shock absorbers are in good condition. Worn out shocks make springs work overtime & the springs will sag.

Plus make sure you have the correct size bar for your weight.

All the way up, but that will effectively be almost a locked suspension, and alignment will be so far out of range even an alignment shop would not be able to correctly set it. So, your question is rather impractical, but answered.

Ride height at whatever height it is, effects your alignment.

There IS a limit ... the adjusting bolts can only go so far into the blocks until they bottom out. If the bars are too soft then you'll not be able to achieve a proper ride height.

Make sure your Lower Control Arm bushings are not wasted too
