Left lane losers be gone!!

I was just driving my motor home, towing a car on I-95. Cruise control set on 65 (70 zone) in right lane. Watched a car ahead of me in the far left lane for about 10-15 minutes. Other cars came flying up behind him and had to brake and pass him on the right. I said watch this guy stay there until he gets where he’s going. Sure enough, he gets about three hundred yards from his exit and cuts across three lanes and gets off.
Michigan Tags?

sounds like you encountered a RI driver.

I didn’t notice the tag, it really doesn’t matter because most likely they are from somewhere else and now have to have Florida tags. That area around Daytona always presents a challenge. Just before this event, some guy was trying to make a u-turn through the grass median. He was probably a left lane resident that stayed too long, missing his exit.

Nope, you live in an imaginary world.
You are only proving my prior point your mind is already made up, and eliminating all suspicion.
I hope you realize the ones in that merge lane could give a **** about any ‘zipper’ they are the ones who steal your lunch, steal off the porch, steal your place in line, cheat on taxes, it’s their mentality.
No, I don't "realize" that nor do believe it without any facts to back it up. Are there some I am sure there are, the world is far from a perfect place.
The ONLY zipper people are IN the correct lane.
Well who decides the "correct" lane? There are no and NEVER has been a posted sign(S) that states one must pre merge immediately, at this point, right now, etc. It might be custom or personal choice when and where to merge in the past, but it has never been mandated nor defined. We now have in the past decade a defined logical new merge process that has no downsides, other than people not accepting it. One can still merge anywhere they want, but no longer have a sound basis that I have heard for criticizing others where they chose to merge., like using the analogy they are trying to "steal your lunch". It is best I found if everybody follows universal driving habits, like full stops, merge at the speed of traffic, keep right except to pass, and now zipper merge, don't merge early, etc.

Here’s the 64 thousand dollar question, what lane do you get in?!
I now merge at the last point possible at the speed of traffic that I am entering, never directly following another merging car in front of me, when an opening presents itself or I am waved, signaled, beeped in. It's not hard. There is no need to "force" anything. I have no interest in battling with another over a 25' piece of roadway. If I truly feel the need to be in front of someone, I can just drive faster later and pass them. This is not a race.
I love it when stubborn people continue down the turd road stepping in one pile after another refusing to admit they're wrong.

I love it when people think everybody else is wrong, seldom if ever ask a question or for a clarification. it gives me a chuckle. I could care less whether they admit or not. I am not passing out grades. I am more interested in their actions.
You stick with the ‘studies’ I’ll stick with reality.
Hard to separate the two in my world.

That tells me a lot, when you see the SIGN ‘merge right or merge left’ does THAT not determine the lane you’re to be in?! Did you grow up in an all female household? Grow some.
