I am almost 60 years young and still love these old Mopar cars and trucks. I have two 1948 Plymouth cars a Coupe and a four door sedan. I love working on these cars but sometimes get frustrated when things don't go my way when working on them. I have found that if you ask a question no matter how stupid on the P15-D24 forum you get some pretty interesting answers and hope to do the same here.

I DIY most things from working on the cars to building my house to making all most all the furniture for the house. I can just about look at something and take it apart and then put it back together again. When it comes to woodworking I can in most cases look at an item and build it. I am a home farmer that has a lot of animals to take care of with two grandsons that live with me and my wife. I like the simple things in life that's why I like old cars because they are mostly simple to work on not like the one on the road now with all the computer stuff. Simple is my way of life.

Anyway look forward to posting questions and getting interesting answers from you all,

Well hi, and welcome to the forum. :welcome:

Glad to have you here. Are your '48s stock or modernized?

Cool.

I likes me a '48 Plymouth.

When I was about 14 I used to lust after a business coupe that sat across the street from my favorite stereo shop in an outdoor storage lot.

Welcome to the site! And you're not very far away from where I am. Used to do some woodworking too but man, the dust and the cars just didn't like each other very much lol. And how do you do all of that!? Woodworking, cars, farming.....just farming is pretty much a full time job.....

Cool 48

welcome to FBBO from Hot & Sunny NorCal...

My Cars (Let Me Introduce My Self)

I do have some pics of the two cars. The blue/green sedan I am working on at the moment redoing the brakes, brake lines, whole interior, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, door panels, window rubbers, window channels, ect. The coupe is being worked on as I have the engine out now rebuilding it and should have back on the road in a few weeks. Both cars are going to be daily drivers. Both the cars have the original engines (218 flat head) in them with the three speed transmission manual 6 volt positive ground and I don't plan on changing them. I like the old stuff and I like the original cars without the supped up engines and all. Call me old fashion if you want to but that is just me.
