Glad you made it. Lets hope that this surgery makes a positive difference. You are a positive influence on this board despite having lots of things bothering you. We need guys like you here.
Well guys hate to bring this one back up but I think for the news it's worth it!
I feel freaking great!!!!!!!
I'm still a bit sore from the surgery but the back and leg pain is gone! It's like the doctor knew what he was doing ,unlike the first one! So I finally got to see pictures and video of my surgery and man did the first guy screw me up bad !
They were taking done out of my nervous canal the other guy somehow got bone in there ,witch is a huge problem as that's were all the nerves are! Plus a huge piece of bone poking the nerves from the back side! Then we had a 2-3 " bone fragment about as thin as a pencil they said ,floating around in there. And lastly the old hardware was stripped in the bone and sliding about as it wanted! The commentary from the doctors as they found all these problems was freaking hilarious!
But I am still very depressed for some reason as I'm not aloud to actually do anything productive for aanother 6-8 months! That sucks!
I need to do front wheel bearing s on my charger and a fuel tank sender ! Before I can drive it again it sucks just seeing her sit there in the garage! I feel like I'm ready to go . They had me on morphine and I already stopped taking it .they couldn't believe that ! Well it was a success and I'll be back asap. Thank you all for your support!!
Oh and I stopped using my walker within a week or two after surgery and I lost 20#'s since I trying to keep it off !every little bit I loose gets my charger going a bit faster !
Heck yeah, pal! Keep posting up your progress and we will respond! I like reading your stuff. You seem positive despite what you say about being depressed. There are not many younger guys around that are into these cars like us guys at 50 and older. I can clearly remember what it was like to be 30...Hell, I still act younger and more immature than that almost every day.
I understand what you mean by not being allowed to be active during the recovery time. I have a surgery this MONDAY and I am expected to be off work for at least a month. This also means no car stuff! I have a 65 Dart I'm doing body and paint on and I wanted to get it painted before it gets too cold here.
6-8 months! Ahhhhh! You can only watch SO much TV, sleep SO much, jerk off so many times....What else can a man do from the couch? Video games? FBBO ? Watch YouTube videos of drunk people falling?
You know that many say that Redhead women are wild in bed and crazy jealous....
I wonder how many guys have been stabbed by these freaks?
For this one, it might be worth it!
You guys need to try a new hobby while your on the shelf. Leather stamping or wood carving or something. Just a little something that keeps your hands busy but lets your other parts heal. I cant stand sitting still very long either...
Well kern good luck with your surgery hope everything goes wellb and they will get you as close to good as possible I don't think they can help you up stairs but it's ok we still like you!
I went to see my red head girlfriend to get my drank removed she walked in and ripped her coat off ,I said oh it's like that I ripped mine off about that time she said gezz your bad your wife is right there I said yeah someone needs to film this ! I was told small caliber shooting was fine ... Ehh I'll wait a bit longer I shot 9mm and after about 50 rds I was very much done . I can spend hours at the range but it got very sore . I play video games but you can't do that very long or you'll get stiff .
