Helping out in the shop.....

They didn't lie when they called them "mans best friend"!!!

Here is another picture of my shepherd that I took a while ago. She is a ham and loves to have her picture taken.

if you look close you can see Mabel in the grass under the Duster.

Nice photo! It's good for several reasons. I really like the fact that your shop assistant is being taught to be patriotic. The US flag should be proudly displayed more often. Thank you.

You have a nice looking shop pooch too!!

It's great to get kids interested in cars, and it is even better when they are taught how to work on them.

As a child I used to get upset with my dad for him making me work on our cars, but it was a necessity. We didn't have money to take them to a shop for repair, so we did most of our own work. He severely injured his back and couldn't physically do the work, but he coached me through the steps of what needed to be done.

I was upset because I wanted to be playing baseball or football with the other kids.

Years later I realized what a gift my Dad gave me. It means even more now because he died last August.

I was lucky and was able to let him know later in life how much I now appreciate everything he did for me.

Thanks for your pictures and comments.

I miss having a dog but just don't have the right environment for one at my present digs .. I have a cat though and she's enough.

Tallhair, she's a cute little kitty... All the neighbors cat love me, visit all the time, I take care of all them when the neighbors go somewhere, I'm the Dr. Dolittle of our neighborhood, I don't need one of my own, I have 3 already...LOL...

She lays in my spot on the bed and waits for my magic fingers

She's helping me type in this picture

No hounds around here-I love 'em but also love my cats. Here's one that the neighbors acquired, but as they usually do,they pretty much abandoned it to the outdoors. Laura and I befriended him and he's a regular around these parts. He also likes to snooze in the back seat of the car when I'm working on it. Presenting Louie. Cool cat.

Cappy is helping with the cars, then decides he wants to go for a ride...he usually gets what he wants..he's in charge and knows it

Keep em coming!!!

Nice!!! I'm glad to see more pictures of our pets. Now I wish I would have called the thread something a little different. Cats are cool too.

My wife has 2 little poodles. Believe me, they run the show!!!! Lol

Keep the photos coming!!!!

thanks

Great dogs, and great photos too! How do you get a good picture of a dog? Every time I pull out the camera, my dog acts like I'm pointing a "double-barrel" at him!

Here are mine waiting for me as they love to go outside to the garage with me. Ron

Here's Sid....he's not with us anymore. When he was around we only had one prairie dog (have 3 now) and even at 15 lbs, the 2 lb P-dog owned him. Probably because years earlier, we had pet rats and the cat used to mess with one and one day the rat had enough of the cat and nailed him. After that, he didn't want anymore to do with rodents lol. Anyways, Sid was pretty cool and even played fetch....
