Fun hobby and A LOT cheaper than cars. Wanted to go back to R/C planes but car projects continue. Hum.

We had a Ponderosa in town it was a real treat to go when we were kids .

We had a place called the "Straw Hat". It was a small building with a huge straw hat on the roof and they served the same stuff like a Dairy Queen. Had another place even smaller called the Halfway Spot. It just a window in a small room and they had ice cream. It was half way up Orton's Hill. We used to hit it coming and going to the golf course at the top of the hill to caddy in the summer. Years later my oldest brother married the girl who ran it. We all wanted to boink that girl.
